How has the start to this season been for you, are you happy with your form ?
The start of the season has been successful. With shock to the league that a newly promoted team go on an 8-game winning streak and currently sit second in the league. On my performances personally I can hold my hands up and say they haven’t been my best, so I’m eager to get back into my best form.
Life in the premier division, who has been the toughest team you have played so far ?
I think our toughest game so far has been Catholic near the start of the season. As we struggled to grab a result. However, I feel now the team has found our form we are going to give them a good game when we play them away.
I know the young players are being a chance in the team, are the management supportive of your progression ?
Yeah, the management are supportive towards us young players, mainly being confident in our ability and giving us the chance to go and show it on the pitch.
Player of the match in the BBC Essex premier cup final and club player of the season, can you sum up last seasons success?
Last season was one to remember. The new management and players coming in. The management set us goals at the start of the season to get promoted and earn some silverware. I felt that as a team we were all up for the challenge and it shows, we all grafted and played every game the way we know we can. Which brought us success at the end of the season with winning the league and the Essex premier cup.
What are your ambitions with Corinthians, you have become a real fan favourite?
My ambitions are to push for the promotion again this year as I believe we have ability to do so. Keeping up the reputation for the club which we earned last year, as I feel we come as quite a shock with our success. So, I’d like this season to be the same.
