Leading The Next Chapter

Ozzie Nyahunda – First Team Manager

Ozzie joins Corinthians with extensive coaching experience across senior football and brings with him a clear footballing philosophy centred around possession-based football, intensity and player development.

A UEFA B Licence holder, Ozzie joins Corinthians having previously held coaching and management roles with Barkingside, AS London, Buckhurst Hill, JP8 and May & Bakers. Throughout his coaching career he has helped teams achieve promotions, league titles and cup success while building a reputation for developing players and creating competitive environments. He also brings a strong network of players and contacts from across Essex and East London football.

Speaking on his appointment, Ozzie said:"I'm delighted to be joining Corinthians FC. After speaking with the Chairman and the Leadership Team about their ambitions for the club and what they want to achieve, the decision to join was an easy one.

My philosophy is simple – create an environment where players are excited to turn up, enjoy their football and fight for the badge. I want to help players improve, build their confidence and get the very best out of themselves.

Having a Reserve Team is hugely important. It gives younger players and those developing within the club something to strive for. Every player wants to play First Team football and having a clear pathway is vital.

My first impressions are of a club built on strong values, good people and a genuine ambition to progress. It sounds cliché, but Corinthians already feels like a family club and that's something that really appealed to me.

With the players already at the club and the players we'd like to bring in, our aim is clear – we want promotion. I believe we can build a team that competes at the top end of the table and takes this club back to where everyone wants it to be.To the Corinthians supporters, I'm excited to meet you all and get started. Together, let's bring this club to where everyone wants it to be.Up The Corinthians 🔵⚪️"

Nick Elmy – Reserve Team Manager

Nick joins Corinthians with a strong background in player development and pathway football, bringing valuable experience in helping players progress both on and off the pitch.Alongside running his own successful business, Nick has built extensive coaching experience working with players across a variety of age groups and competitive environments, including roles within both the Hullbridge Sports Youth EJA and Chelmsford City U18 EJA setups.

Passionate about developing players both on and off the pitch, Nick has established a reputation for creating positive, high-standard environments where individuals can maximise their potential. His coaching philosophy centres around accountability, professionalism, continuous improvement and preparing players for the demands of senior football.

As Reserve Team Manager, Nick will play a key role in strengthening the pathway between youth and senior football, helping players develop the technical, tactical and mental attributes required to progress into First Team football.

Speaking on his appointment, Nick said:"It is a real honour to join Corinthians FC and I am extremely proud to be given the opportunity to work with such a respected club. What stood out to me was the club's ambition, its strong values and its commitment to developing players. I felt this was an excellent environment in which to help players progress while contributing positively to the wider club.

My immediate focus is to establish clear standards, build strong relationships with the players and staff, and create an environment where individuals can maximise their potential. I want the squad to develop a strong identity and a culture that reflects the values of the football club.

The Reserve Team plays a crucial role in supporting the pathway into First Team football. Ultimately, our job is to help produce players who are capable of making that step when opportunities arise.

I would like to thank all the supporters who will come along to support us throughout the season. We will be a new team and their backing will only help drive the players on to produce their very best performances. The passion and commitment of the supporters are a huge part of what makes this club special, and I look forward to sharing an exciting journey together."

Looking Ahead

Speaking on behalf of the Leadership Team, Vice Chairman Dan Mann said:"We are delighted to welcome Ozzie and Nick to Corinthians Football Club. From our earliest conversations, it was clear that Ozzie and Nick shared the values and ambitions of Corinthians Football Club. We weren't simply looking for coaches; we were looking for leaders who could help build an environment where players can develop, teams can compete and the club can continue moving forward.

One of the key things that stood out throughout the process was the alignment between their vision and the direction we want to take as a football club. These appointments are not simply about the season ahead. They are about establishing a long-term structure that strengthens the pathway between the Reserve Team and First Team while creating an environment where players can develop and thrive.

As a club, we have ambitious plans for the future and we believe these appointments provide an excellent platform to continue moving forward. We are excited to begin working with both managers and look forward to seeing their impact both on and off the pitch."
